The Racing Team is for those sailors who not only have demonstrated sailing proficiency after completing the Learn to Sail program, but also have a need for speed. Students will practice competitive starts and mark roundings, and will learn racing rules and tactics. Students are introduced to match racing, team racing, and fleet racing under the leadership of US Sailing Level II certified instructors.

Classes are held Monday, Tuesday, and Friday form 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in two 4-week sessions. The first session runs June 25th through July 20th and the second session runs from July 23rd to August 17th. Students are highly encouraged to register for both sessions. Additionally, and at the option and sole discretion of the student's parent or guardian, each student will be introduced to a boat that sails regularly on Thursday nights out of Jubilee Yacht Club to broaden the student's racing experience.
